dig some up and take a look before writing them off. You will at least know what is going on with your taters and may find they are okay

You know you can always replant. We plant spuds 3 to 5 times a year with the last going in in early July for winter sales (they don't try to sprout until Feb/March, unlike the ones planted in the spring

I checked my rows yesterday and found a few rotten seeds and a few beginning to root as well as a few that haven't done anything. Wondering if I should get more seed and go down every row and replace just the rotten ones??

Tough call. I probably would let them alone if some are starting to root and see what comes up - you can always come back after they are up and plant the skips.

I would go ahead and buy some extra seed potatoes while you can. I'm usually the one that waits and then can't find any. Worse case, you can add some more after you finish up something else.
