Thanks, Cynthia. I will go there in iris blooming season when I assume they will once again have them. Somehow I always got to the Ellicott City Home Depot. They helped me lug mulch and soil when I was too pregnant do be lugging and too stubborn to stop digging in the dirt! I'v e never seen them at the Elicott City location. Someone on South Rolling Road had their front yard garden "facelifted" last summer and the irises were their. I had variegated foliage envy - otherwise I could pretty much take or leave irises. I enjoy their scent for about 2 days as a cut flower in my home and then the smell begins to drive me batty! Sue

I bought some last year at Meadow's Farms on Route 29 in Burtonsville. They also had a great selection of hostas.

Never been to the Meadows Frams there. I will try it. Thank you. I am also dying to try wisteria. I saw some at Carroll Gardens online shop, but various sites on the internet say they can be difficult to get to bloom which to me is the whole point. I had a neighbor with a beautiful tree but when he sold the new owners flattened all of his beautiful landscaping. Arghhhhh it will probably take them ten years to anything and it will look like veeryone else's nandina-false cypresss-azalea-dwarf alberta spruce-cherry tree-bambi eaten annuals yard.hmmmmmmmm. Sorry for the tirade mine is no showcase but I can't stand a mass kill off... if I make a mistake I find a plant a new home whether it be my (way) back yard or someone else's....
