Japanese Maples 'ever red'

I have two questions....well, actually, I have two Jap Maple trees...

I understand that you can sell a mature Jap maple for around $10,000, is that true? I have one that is about 20-30 years old as far as I know, its about 6ft tall and about 7 ft wide, its beautiful! If I were to sell it, what is the best way for the buyer to dig it up and move it?

and, on my other tree, its just as old, but due to someone not maintaining all the landscaping around the house, some other bushes overgrew one side of the maple, and so now half of the tree is dead, and the other half is just lovely! of course, I've cut back the bushes to expose the tree, but its not in a real sunny location. Whats the best way to bring the other side of the tree back?

thanks for your help!!
