I would love to get going with some strawberries this year. If I get plants, will I be able to harvest the first year? Oh, I really hope so. I'm afraid I have nothing to swap, but does anyone anticipate a surplus of plants this coming year? I'd be happy to pay. Also, if I'm purchasing from the store, what varieties does anyone recommend? Right now, I'm making the bed for them and working on composting. Keeps me sane while I dream of ripe berries and tomatoes to come.
