Anybody growing Purple Milkweed (A. purpurascens) successfully? Any tips on preferred growing conditions? I've tried small purchased plants several times and have only had so-so results. I am growing poke milkweed from seed and purchased plants, and hope to have it blooming next spring. I also grow swamp milkweed and butterfly milkweed. Believe it or not, I think the rabbits are eating/nibbling on my young milkweed plants.
