Excellent choice, it really stands out. Did you get any Hostas?

Hi Cowboy! Just a few :-) They had a really good sale on a few hostas that they aren't going to be listing in their catalog any more. I ordered Sparkling Burgundy, Sum of All, Lakeside April Snow, and Alex Summers. I'm trying to hold off on ordering a lot of hostas this year because I have so many at the old house that I will be wanting to dig divisions from and bring over here. I'm going to more then have my hands full (literally of hostas) with that project this coming summer!

Sparkling Burgundy is an excellent choice. I am not a hosta fanatic, but I like this one. It seems so unassuming, with its "plain" green leaves, but not too many have the olive color as this one does, or its substance. Blooms late with very attractive flowers(not something often waid with hosta) and dark maroon stems. Garden visitors seem to home in on it, an comment on how much they like it.

Nice Fern Joyce!! I have been tempted by that myself! I find though that not too many ferns like my all too well draining soil, so I have held back on that urge a bit.
Now, Hosta is another story... I do get in trouble with them every year! You picked some winners there!
