We are in Zone 7, in the process of putting up a few 8' tall x 4' wide vinyl lattice panels to give us some bit of privacy in our yard, very sunny area. My husband and I are neither one gardeners but want to plant something in front of the lattice... whether it be a vine or tree or shrub. My husband suggested morning glory (his mom used to have some) but from reading some of the posts on the forum they may not be the best idea... I've also considered sweet pea, ivy geranium (don't think they get tall enough though?), roses, clematis, wisteria, silver lace, or even blackberries or fruit trees? No idea which direction to go. Would really love whatever it is to grow fast, be tall and stay green most of the year :) I'd appreciate any suggestions!
