While I was walking around to see what needed covering just in case of frost tonight I noticed that Piilu is covered with flower buds!

This is the first year that I haven't cut my P: 2 clematis to the ground so most of them have some new growth but only Piilu has flower buds. I put row cover over it as sure would hate to lose those unusually early blooms.

Some daffodils and hyacinths are blooming. Also some of the primroses, squill, spring anemones, spring crocus (like autumn crocus but yellow; not the regular crocus) are blooming and some tulips have buds. "Ivory Prince' hellebore has a few open blooms. Such an amazing spring.
