They look awesome and very sellable. How much do you charge for these?

I have SunSugars and Chocolate Cherry coming on. I just sell from the house by phone order.

We are getting $3 a pint. At market on Wednesday, we sold out. If this quantity keeps up, I do offer 2 for $5, but with all the added expenses of water this year, I may not do that.

I was getting that a few years ago, have you stayed the same or raised or lower your prices this year?

I have stayed the same at one market and raised my price at my other market from $2.50 to $3.00. While I wish I could raise it again, to say $3.50, I am pretty sure I would loose customers over it. I have been working hard to build this market for Cherry Tomatoes. Before I started selling them, there was no one who was selling them (in any consistent quantity). So it has taken time to build and I don't want to compromise that.

The way Sun Sugar cherries were being touted as being the new cherry creme de la creme, I didn't plant much else, (just chocolate cherry). Now that I've tasted them, I don't really care for them and was very disappointed. I think I may have to sell them for less. Bummer.

Barb, I've found that the same variety can and will taste totally different grown in different soils. I personally don't like the Chocolate Cherry, but LOVE the Black Cherry and some people say they are the same thing. I've found over the years never to plant just 1 variety of anything, especially new items.
