Hello,
About a month agoI bought a JM and shortly after I brought it home, noticed some browning and drying on the edges of some leaves. As the summer has progressed, this has spread to the entire tree. I read a post that attributed this to a fungus caused by overwatering, so I assumed it would return to normal if it was not overwatered- we did have quite alot of rain here in nyc, so even though I stopped watering it, it was probably fairly moist anyway. It is on my roofdeck where it is in constant sun and very hot, esp now. It's like it's frying up before my eyes- I asked the guy at the Greenmarket where I bought it if it would be alright in full sun, and he said, fine, but now I'm wondering. Any thoughts? Does this sound familiar? All help appreciated.
Thanks,
Genata
