Chamaecyparis thyoides 'Heather Bun'

I planted three of these last September, in a mixed border at the back of my house. They were lovely. This winter the rabbits ate the top portions off, the parts that were not covered by snow. Now that the snow has gone, the intact 2/3's of the plants (that the rabbits did not eat) are very nice, I would have to be very happy with them. Does anybody have this plant, and could you tell me how well they might fill in past the damage, and perhaps how long it will take?

Thanks, Helen.
