We could use some rain here... not that it's dry, but Tom hired chemlawn to do his grass again (so I can safely say that the more I dig up and plant with better stuff, the more money it saves him :-). Anyway, they spread dry fertilizer and pre-emergence crab grass preventer on Monday and our puppy likes to scoop up anything she can when she's outdoors, even gravel off the street when we walk. So, I don't dare have her in the yard until it rains and dissolves that stuff.
