Snap Peas ?

Hi everyone ! I would like some advice here, everything in my garden is really growing except my snap peas ... they have struggled since I planted them and as I understand it they don't like temps in the 80s ... should I give up on them and pull them ? I am on vacation this coming week and its great having time to do so much in the garden .

I'm having the same problem. I am giving mine one more week and then I am pulling the plants -- and using the leaves in a salad.

When did you plant them? I'm in a very warm part of zone 7, and I sow sugar snaps and snow peas in late February/early March. Even in the colder spots in this area, I'd say you need to get those seeds in the ground by the end of March at the latest. If you sowed later than that, you're unlikely to get anything to harvest before its just too hot for the plants. I'm picking peas right now and will for another 7-10 days. Then, the first flush of fruit will be done and the plants will be done as well. I'll pull them and plant pumpkins in that spot.
