I suppose making a compost enclosure would be the best way to go, and you could use it for years to come. Something simple, like a few fence posts with wire around them. You would need a gate where you can turn it once in a while and harvest when it is finished. You can find suggestions for very basic designs free on the web. Carmellia

Oooh, mulching is a great idea! I'll have to look into that, since the yard isn't really mine (it's my mother's) and I can't build anything on it.
