Grafting

I went to my first grafting class this past weekend, really enjoyed it and would like to learn more. My first 2 summer grafts were on Japanese maples. I'll know in 3 to 4 weeks if they took.

Can any one recommend good books or a good web sites on the various grafts used in ornamental plants and/or bonsai?

Paul, where did you take it? I'm sure others may be interested.

The Arnold Arboretum has propagation classes from beginner to advanced.

Once you have some success in propagation you will never look at a plant the same way again.

I took the class at 'Great Hill Horticultural Foundation'(www.ghhf.com) in Hampton Falls, NH 03844. It was given by Wayne Jope of 'Riverbend Gardens'(www.Riverbendgardens.com)Amesbury Ma. 01913.
I beleive he is given another class at the same place October 1st. You can get more info from their sites.
If you need any help let me know.
I took route 95 to exit one NH and follwed map quest directions to the estate of Mr. and Mrs Paul Montrone.
From Gloucester it took 45 minutes.
