Forgive my very basic question, but I'm new to gardening. I had been planning to plant my herbs and few tomato plants this weekend, but wonder if it is too cold given the frosty nights we've had this week. I'm planting basic herbs like tarragon, oregano, basil, rosemary and two tall tomato plants.

Thanks for indulging, I know I've seen other posts on planting but didn't see about this cold week.

I live in Silver Spring, just north of DC.
