If there is something flowering in it, it's probably a columbine. That's the only other thing growing in the same area. I'd love some evening primrose, but it's always FRIED in my yard.

I think it was my friend Kathleen who gave you the Cherry Bells.

It came from the same bed as the Mexican Primrose.

Chris, Please thank Kathleen for me! Yes, it's gotta be some kind of primrose, after looking at tons of pictures (but of course, they only show so much detail). And Christine, if she doesn't bring some to the fall swap, I can probably bring you some...since I hear they spread very well. I've got it in a mostly-sun spot and it seems to be doing fine there so far.

(oh, hope these two spread)

I just can't get over these Cherry Bells - the shape is just unlike anything I've seen...which I guess is only so much anyway....

I, too, absolutely love the cherry bells. I just picked up a 'bells that has chartuese (?) yello leaves and white flowers. It's also a keeper! Perhaps when it spreads I can share it with you. I'm thinking it'll be a fabulous compliment to the cherry's red!
