I was at Pahl's Market in Apple Valley today.

They had a table of Golden Spiderwort and I'm wondering if it's hardy here. On , it says zone 5. Gerten's carries it and says it's zone 4.

I'd love to use it for its golden grass-like foliage, but I'm hesitant to plant it if it's only marginally hardy.

Anyone grow it or has it died on ya?

I'm looking at planting it on the front of my house.... facing east. It'll get morning sun, up till about 2pm or so, with some shading during that time. So, I'm guessing it'd get 4-6 hours of direct sun.

Your opinions?
