Freeman Maple Seeds.... Anyone have success?

Sheffield Seeds has Freeman Maple seeds for sale. But I read so much on Freeman Maple (Acer x Freemanii) that the seeds dont set, flower are sterile and trees won t grow true to form.

Will the trees be either a Red Maple or Silver Maple... Its parents.

Has anyone ever had any success?... I dont know it it worth my time.
