Which red leaf jap. maple holds its color in the summer in Atlanta? The only one I know of is Blood Good. I have put them in two different client's designs but I'm not finding good specimens available at this time. I have to wait until winter for them to come from the west coast and they may not be taller than 6'. Please suggest upright varieties that stay red during the summer and wholesale sources to purchase.
