Very nice and lots of room in there. I guess gardens or something for the garden was a popular Mother's Day gift this year. One of my friends got a tiller and compost bins and my DH finally made me a pond.

You guys make a good team.

I was hoping for a flowering hanging basket like DH got me last year. I got fake roses. :( It will be a cold day in Hades before he ever digs me a pond.) His policy is that I can do almost anything I want to the gardens, as long as I don't expect him to help me, and I keep in mind the needs of He Who Mows.

Except for this one minor flaw, though, he's a great guy!

Your garden looks beautiful! However it looks like your tree trunk has been buried quite a bit and I've heard that this is bad for the health of the tree. Maybe you could ask over at the tree forum.

Thanks Juliet, I did exactly that! They said that it should be fine, but I need to put something between the trunk and the dirt, to prevent possible rot. I'm glad I didn't need to take it all down! Christy :)
