My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Where are the TV components, i.e.,cable box/DVR, DVD player, etc.?

    Easy to do, just pre wire before the brick, there is even a conduit (pipe) method that allows u to change cable later. Just remember to also put in a 110 box for power.

      probably in another room. with the advent of RF remote controls you don't need to put receivers and cable boxes close to the tv and can place those components anywhere.

      Even if Wires are behind the Brick does it get too hot from the fire? Or do you use fireboard then put the brick on?

      so trick...i think the placing of receiver and cables is so tricky there. Even if there is no any fire...some illustrate please!

      I'd like to do this with an existing fireplace. It is a gas fireplace. Is there a wireless remote box made? Carve out the cement grout?
