Help identify please! 5 unknowns with photos!!

These are what I have blooming/can't i.d. as of today! Two of them are little tuffs of grass sort-of, with bright pink flowers...they are different though! One has a blueish grass beneath it and one is a green, and the flowers are BRIGHT pink!

Next one is purple...I was thinking it was Liatris?

Then there is this HUGE area of stuff....anyone recognize it? I knew what it was last year but all my tags wore off and now I have no clue! It looks like it will bloom next week or in a few weeks-

The last one is like a groundcover.....it has little vine things and then this year it has those purple flowers on it......what type of groundcover is it?

All of these should be "common" perennials, they are all in the sun, except the ground cover is part sun.

Help me i.d. please!!! also...how do I get tags that dont lose the name? Is there somewhere to order some metal engraved ones?? I want some that will last a few years!!

I agree with John on his identification of the plants.

The Ajuga could be Burgundy Glow

Looking again at the second picture, I'm thinking it may be thrift, Armeria maritima.

John, thanks sooooooooooooooo much! I was sitting here WONDERING and was like....hummmm....I should just ask! So THANKS A TON!!!!
Armeria sounds right, I think that is one of the tags I had found in there and placed in the drawer of tags I find! This garden commenced about 50 years ago and I am the third owner and creater! So, when I find ANY tags I keep them and try to find them in there!!! I have added about 20 varieties - and still adding of course!

Any idea where to order tags that will not lose the name???

I'm thinking thrift for the second one too, I bought some last year at the friends plant sale and rember it looking like that...hmmm come to think of it, it didn't come back this year :(

I agree with thrift for the second one and if you want more detail on # 3 it's centaurea montana. Agree with all the others. Unless you want more plants of the centaurea, be sure to deadhead after bloom. I usually cut the old bloom stalks back to the ground after bloom for new growth and light re bloom in fall.

Thanks HOSTAHOLIC!!!! centaurea montana....your right..this looks like it!!!!I did not plant this one I don't think! I just got 1 stalk of it...funny! I just liked it because it was one of hte only things in my entire garden to have a bloom right now!!!! I think I might spread the seeds and then DEADHEAD frequently! Thanks for the tip to watch it's ability to spread, I would never have known!
