In my opinion you should just toss them as they are an invasive plant. Plant native blueberries where you where planing on movign them too. They will also give you a lovey red color in autumn.

I too chose to toss some burnign bushes and it did seem like a horrible waste. but in the end i felt good about not contrubutiong to teh dispersal of their seeds into our forests.

How high are they planted now? If the base of the bush will not still be at least 1" above grade, you risk hurting or killing the plant. As I've said in other posts, the biggest thing I've learned in the last year or so is to plant high.

What would you gain by lowering them?
