You still have the wrong name. It's Northwood, without the 's'.

"Discovered by L. Snyder as a seedling near Floodwood, MN. Described in 1980. Introduced by Bailey nursery of Minnesota. Selected for cold-hardiness. Rounded-oval shape, not dense; branches ascending from the trunk at about a 45 [degree] angle. Trunk straight and sturdy. Crimson-red and orange fall color. Male. Grows poorly in alkaline soils or hot, dry prairie conditions"

My dad had one in his yard until a storm snapped it last year. The storm broke a lot of trees so I am not implying anything bad about Northwood. However, I would only describe the fall color as okay, never a great red like some of the other red maples. He had had the tree for about 10 years.
