ever been to that nursery down on Fort Rd (7th St) at Montreal? Across from the SA. I think they have about everything.

As for price, you get what you pay for. And a nursery has a lot of inventory, overhead, costs you and I cant even guess at. So If I go into a nice place, broke as I am, I know that I would rather pay a buck or two more to them than to a chinese import. Got my hint?

BTW, there is Leightner's on Randolf Ave near 35E. A family owned business trying to stay afloat.

Since I start most of my natives from seed I am not as up to speed on buying plants as I would like to be, but for seed I order from Prairie Moon Nursery in Winona. They do not have a store there. The web site is below.

They also carry plants. I have gotten a few bare root plants from them.

I shopped at land scape alternatives when they were in St. Paul and they have nice plants. They moved in 2005 and I haven't been there since they are in the St. Croix Valley.

The other one I have heard of is Out Back Nursery and Landscaping, Inc in Hastings.
