Roses should do fine in part shade keep an eye on them for blackspot. I have a clump of mini bearded iris in part shade which is the vertical blue green foliage up front. you could try a carex,daylily or acorus for the clump you see in the picture on the left,all happy in part shade. The purple is either a salvia or the flower of lirope maybe veronica, I have salvias and lirope in part shade doing just fine. The pink is probably dianthus? maybe ice plant not sure from the picture, I grow annual dianthus in part shade it does great. Here in the mid atlantic I feel many plants appreciate a bit od shade hope this helps. Lynn

Try a low growing native geranium for that splash of pink in the left front corner. We have the variegated euonymus in our back yard which gets even less shade than you have; it's growing slowly. You might like to look at pulmonaria officialis for an unusual leaf and pink/lavender flower.
