maple trades anyone?

I transplanted several Southern Sugar Maple seedlings from my yard into 4" pots over the summer, and was wondering if anyone is interested in trades for other maple varieties. My trees are native sugar maples, but a subspecies that is adapted to Southern heat and humidity (North Carolina). The parent tree is about 60' tall and turns bright orange in the fall, but other maples of the same variety in woods near my house range from bright yellow to deep orange.

My seedlings are small (less than 6-8" tall). But, in the past, I have transplanted several of these maples from the woods behind my house to other spots in my yard, and they all have grown rapidly. They seem well adapted to hot weather and dry soil conditions, and grow more rapidly and robustly than northern sugar maples in this area.

I would be interested in seedlings or small plants of other maple varieties, such as A. buergerianum, A. campestre, A. circinatum, A. ginnala, A. japonicum, A. shirasawanum, A. sieboldianum or any Japanese maple varieties.

Send me an email if interested, tmather1954@yahoo.com
