My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Well, ordered some daylilies and somehow or another, they came with a nice hatchery of aphids! Any homemade or store bought remedies that you've tried and had success with that won't harm the plants or critters (dogs mainly). Thanks!
Yup! Take a hot pepper (jalepeno works fine) cut it up and soak it in a quart or so of water overnight. Strain into a spray bottle and squirt the little devils. the drop dead instantly! Be very careful though as the pepper spray does burn if you get it into your eyes and can irritate sensitive skin. Be sure the mark the spray bottle as well :) I always keep a couple of peppers in the freezer just for this purpose.
