I have a turtlehead in dappled to full shade and it is doing just fine, although it probably doesn't spread as fast as it would in full sun. In late summer it does bloom nicely - that is if the deer don't eat it first!

I'm glad to hear it! The difference in light between my front yard and my back yard is like night and day. At least there is something I can transplant back there.
