We are starting to come into our best weather time--low humidity, warmth, just the best early early fall or late summer weather. I saw it today--a breeze! Which we would neve have had in July or early August. I love this time of year but it goes by so Quick!

Yes, our tulip poplar has started to shed leaves, Indian Summer is just around the corner. Steve in Baltimore County

My fellow feline,
Unfortunately, the tulip poplar shedding its leaves is probably more indicative of drought stress than of approaching autumn. My pin oak is starting to drop, and no way should it be doing any such thing at this time of year!
