Is everyone and their property oK?

One 1880's victorian house in my Silver Spring neighborhood(near Forest Glen metro) lost part of its red brick chimney. One person from my office reported a major crack in the foundation of her house in Hyattsville. Now the question is will her insurance cover the damage since she didn't have earthquake insurance.

The National Cathedral lost parts of three of its four iconic finals. And the Washington Monument has a crack in it up at the top. But it is a miracle that there wasn't more damage and injuriers to people.

I hope everyone and their homes and gardens are in good shape.

Kim, thanks for your concern. All is well is Leisure World, no major damage to this part of LW that I've been able to see. Winds up to 72 mph clocked in Gaithersburg and I'm sure it was that here too.
