Even if we don't have any formal competition, I hope people will bring tasting samples of their different varieties along with the names. It would a greatopportunity to compare varieties for flavor.

I'll bring a large tray of brownies and a couple gallons of unsweetened tea. As we get closer, if there are still needs I can bring other things.

I'll make up a batch of potato salad and will bring a bunch of sodas diet/regular/rootbeer, etc. I'll also hit the booze store and bring some beer and wine.

I am heading to Sam's Club next week to get a big box a Chicken parts as well as burgers and dogs for the kids.

Oh, I also plan to make a pasta that includes Sungold tomatoes, assuming early blight doesn't completely engulf my one sungold plant. My sister has decided to attend - she thinks she will make a tomato salad she saw Tyler Florence prepare on the Food Network.

I was thinking of bringing some burgers made with organic grassfed beef if folks are interested. Greg, if it's not too late, maybe you could reduce your burger buy by 3 lb or so.

I've started saving up the good looking tomatoes for tasting, never fear.

I'll bring tuna-macaroni salad and as any fresh peppers and cukes as I have.

I will bring something tasty from the farmers' market I pass on the way to Baltimore. I wasn't sure I could come due to other events, but it's looking good for tomorrow. I am really looking forward to meeting Trudi, the Winter Sowing Queen! And seeing other MAGs again.
