the BIG SKY is the most stunning thing between suburbia.. and living in BFE .... aka adrian mi ...

growing up on a 55 x 110 lot.. with mature trees and all power lines above.. i never knew what the sky and stars were..

I live in suburbia (sort of) and get some great pics of clouds and storms since I face west on a slight incline. Yours are prettier but I wish mine were real- we could sure use some rain here in southern Wisconsin!

In Janesville WI how about you? we have missed all the rain that Wisconsinites up north of us have recieved! It's bone dry here and my water bill will be out of this world if it doesn't rain soon!!

Beautiful pics of the clouds. We have been experiencing the same thing here in Alaska. The hostas have been slow, but nice,but I WANT SUN!!!!

Those clouds were pretty, but the storm that came through before them was not.

I couldn't make it to the chit chat because my father-in-law had surgery earlier in the week, and all of my in-laws are staying at my house. In fact, we were at the hospital when the storm went through and the power went out. Pretty freaky to be in a hospital, just glad I wasn't in the elevator.

About an hour after the storm went through I came home to find this:

There was 2 inch hail all over the yard. We knew it was bad when we started to get close to the house and trees were down and there was so much hail it looked like it had snowed. The weird thing was that we had a hail storm go through 7/21/2008, so it was almost exactly two years to the date of that bad hail storm.

Speaking of BIG SKY. We drove through northern Montana a couple of years ago and realized why they call that Big Sky Country. Wow!
