Moonflower vine- Ipomoea alba- beginner

I first discovered moonflower vines when I was looking for a fast growing vine to grow up the side of my house. I did extensive research to the care and maintenance of these beautiful flowers. I bought the seeds from a home improvement store. I knicked and soaked 6 seeds for 26 hours. The other 6 seeds I planted directly into 6inch peat pots. They were planted at the same time and they sprouted at the same time. The soil was 60 degrees and the air temp was between 70 and 80. One thing I noticed though, is that the ones that I soaked have smaller leaflets. I love how they look like butterfly wings! This is my only experience with moonvines so far. Im asking you what to expect? I was going to wait until they are atleast 12 inches tall until I translplant them. How fast exactly are they? What I mean is, how tall will they get in one growing season?
