Last year I hit a sale at the Lowes in New Carrolltown as they were clearing out the fall supply of trees, shrubs and plants to make room for Holiday merchandise. It was in the latter part of October and I bought Nandina, hollies and a great magnolia all at 90% off (yes, 90%-- the 6 foot magnolia was $3 and is doing great!). This was an unadvertized sale (they didn't even have signs in the nursery) and I hit it by sheer luck.

Has anyone been out there recently and is able to report on a sale? I need more nandina and holly!
