The Washington Post real estate section had a nice article today about horticultural events in the DC area. The content was mostly craft programs, but did include holiday displays at the Botanical Gardens, Brookside Gardens and Green Springs. What other holiday displays do you recommend in the Mid-Atlantic area?

I just checked to see what was going on up at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. If you haven't been there it is worth the trip...probably a 2 1/2 hour trip from DC but it is famous world-wide, and beautiful! Unfortunately, they are doing work on the conservatory right now so I don't think they have the normal displays and they are too far for you to take a trip to see their night time lights displays.
But if you haven't gone, plan it for next summer or spring!
