My oh my. I posted this question, went back to the forum and it had posted my follow up to the rain barrel question.

I wonder if this is telling me something about my day and just what could that be. Maybe it is telling me to go do something else.

Yeah, if you try to post twice in a row, you'll get an error message. If you change the text in the "subject of posting" field, you can make the 2nd post fine. It's been this way ever since I joined.

I just tried to post, and it wasn't the second time in a row, but I got that message anyway! I think someone made an oops in updating the website's code.

The way I have found to post a follow-up to my own previous post is......Log Off GW. Shut down Internet Explorer. Let it cool for a few minutes. Reopen IE, Go to the thread again, sign on and then write the follow-up. Usually works just fine doing that.

There might be a reason that one person can't just post a number of responses....one right after another. The system is designed to stop one person from 'spamming' a topic? However, it is frustrating when one wants to correct something immediately after they hit the submit button.

Another intresting thing, I haven't received notice of the follow-ups coming into this question. I wonder what is up.

I noticed the no notification thing too- this whole system has been kind of quirky for a month or so now. Last month it was the search engine that was chugging.

It is good to know that I am not the only one left out.
