i wondered this too - somewhere on gardenweb someone said the seeds were white, so i picked one of the pods & opened it up to check - it was white & is now turning brown since i brought it inside. is it ok to pick them now to dry them this way or should they stay on the plant?

so even if you would get more blooms, it sounds like you should wait until the pods are dry & the seeds rattle.

i had two flowers this year (because my stepmother killed four of my six vines), and the pods, i guess i can call them, are still on the vines. i was wondering if more flowers will bloom from them or is it one flower per pod, period
