I wish I had a picture of this guy but....He is about an inch to an inch and a half long. He flies fast his legs kind of look like the legs of a grasshopper his body is long thin and short to the ground. He is very black, if the sun hits him right he has a metallic green color to him.

I saw on the Mn Extension web site another person wanted it identified but they said they needed a picture or the bug. Can't catch the bugger and the camera is broken, but wouldn't know how to use it anyway. Anyone know what this guy is? BTW I also have something eating holes on the leaves of my plants. Not slugs because the holes are also on the plants in the middle of my pond. I have tons of flies and wasps and ladybugs feasting on whatever is there but for the life of me I cannot see what is attracting them. HELP!!
