I have a NOID primula on the same bed as Hosta and Bleeding Heart. They seem to do fine. Can you find Primula in this photo?

Primula is under the Hosta leaves to the right and also toward the bottom. The 2 clumps of Bleeding Heart are dormant how. They are behind the Hosta. Bleeding Heart leaves are airy and won't stay around long into summer unless it receives A LOT of water.

I have a few primroses in a bed southeast of my deck. They are the ones you get in the grocery store, don't know the name.They have bloomed on and off all winter. They are now under 9" of snow. We had 1 below zero day this winter, and the leaves browned a little. I did water 3 time this winter as we have had no measureable precipatation until this snow. The hardest thing on them is extreme heat in summer, then I mulch them heavily. Hosta would definately smother them out. Bleeding heart will disappear somewhat after blooming.
