Rain

Rain anyone? Yahoo! Finally! We got 3 1/2 inches last night. I would have preferred a nice slow soaker, but hey, I'll take whatever we can get. Kind of made a mess of my flowers and pots, guess I won't be taking much to the Co. fair next week. Oh well, I'm just thrilled to finally have RAIN.

one inch here in the east metro with more maybe tonight. One down, six to go.

A hair over 1-inch of rain north of Anoka as well. That wind...wow!! That was something to listen to. I was a little worried about some of my trees but I didn't see any signs of damage anywhere! Whew!

Rain yesterday and more rain in Mpls today. I usually sleep through just about everything-but the thunder last night was something else.

anybody know how much we got near St. Cloud? It was a pretty nasty storm here, but we had "lines" accross the yard where you could see the rushing water pushed debri as it ran to the lowest spot! Now I am not complaining...it was a wonderful gully gusher, just wondered how much we got - I did hear that we got 1.41 inches in 17 minutes and know it lasted a lot longer than that...wondering the TOTAL. Who would have thought...another hot week!
