So...whatever happened to the plans for our usual "Fall Swap"?

Marie, I have been wondering about when, and where, too!

I already have several things potted up and ready to trade!

Can't wait, I have missed a couple and have lots to swap!

    Hello

I had planned to host the fall swap, but too many family commitments (two weddings, family reunion and several other events) have come up in the month of Sept. IÂve emailed to Dave (Lazyweeder) a couple weeks ago that I wouldnÂt be able to host, but havenÂt heard back. I believe Helen at one time volunteered, so if she would like to host it would be great, otherwise itÂs open to a new host volunteer.

    Sorry

    Sandy,

If no one else volunteers, I can host, depending on the date. I will be gone the first week in October, and it would be rather appropriate because I, like Dave, am in the middle of major house reconstruction. Mine is all indoors and upstairs though.

    Let me know...Helen.

Helen, if you want to host, you pick a date that works for you. Preferably in September so everyone's new plants can get into the ground and establish roots before it gets too cold.

Let us know if you want to do this with all you have going on.

I think most of us are getting antsy for a fall swap! LOL

    Hey there-
For the last few years folks have offered to host at the previous swap and then announced on the exchange part of the forum the date and time- typically in advance with a "private" e-mail sent to everyone signed on with the location address and phone number closer to the swap date.
If you would like any assistance- please- don't be afraid to ask! Just e-mail me and I will do what I can to help!

My dear friends, here I posted the question - but uhm- well, I seem to be in a leg splint for a few weeks yet. I sprained my knee a bit ago and hyper-extended everything around it. I can't garden, I can at least gimp around a bit, but shovels? hah! Also, it's beginning to look like this will occur at the very end of Sept or start of October when I'll be visiting my folks in France! So if anyone wishes to swap anything with me PLEASE PLEASE contact me and I'll be happy to let you come raid my gardens :)

I'll miss you! I LOVE the swaps! I will be at the Winter Blues Seed Swap if at all possible!

I missed the spring swap but am determined to make it to the fall swap - if we have one.
Our place came with a lot of things with no tags, but I have been taking pics of everything while in bloom to show at least what they look like. So far I have potted up a bunch of hostas, am going to work on daylilies this weekend, and debating what to do with a patch of tiger lilies and a HUGE cirle of iris. Also have tons of woodland ferns all over our wooded property, if anyone is interested. They work great for tough shady places and really fill in big and green.
My plants might not be worth much without names but it would be nice to at least meet some fellow gardeners!

Sorry Sandy, I kinda dropped the ball. Been busy with the house almost every weekend.

    Helen sent you an email.

So, where is the swap going to be? I haven't been to a swap for 2 years. Carmellia
