Moved from Florida two years ago to Cincinnati and love love love the spring time here and especially the beautiful white pear trees that bloom everywhere here in the beginning of April. This is my first post so I am excited to get a response to my burning question. Everywhere else the pears are blooming like crazy this year - no matter the size or the location - except the three fairly large ones that I have in my back yard. They barely put out any flowers at all and they didn't do much last year. During the rest of the year the foliage seems to be lush and fine. It seems to me they are getting a lot of sun throughout the day and I had a nursery person here to look at them. We could not find a bug or any reason they should be so lack luster. Any suggestions?
