This is wonderful...What a great sound rain is.

I finally saw a hummingbird in the garden tonight. I think the flowers are finally making enough nectar to bring them in.

The wonderful wonderful rain. The garden is so happy. Me too.

My lawn is completely brown and dormant.
Much needed rain to revive it.

Less than a 10th of an inch. We are really in a bad spot- it goes north and south around us- a friend 4 miles away got half an inch. I get so jealous I can hardly stand it. I can't watch the twin cities weathercasters because it seems like they are gloating but I know it's my own dismay at our continued drought.

We got OVER 4 inches of rain here in the Como Park area.

We have had about 6 inches in the last week or so.I wished you had more,It is slow for the grass to make a comeback.I don't understand how the crabgrass and weeds are doing so well.When it was so very hot,I couldn't stand that heat and humidity.Maybe this weekend you will be blesses with rain.Sure hope so.
