Goin' wild in Zone 5! :D

I'd be planting if it would stop raining! LOL If it's not raining, it's spitting. Just enough to keep me from doing it.

I have four roses, two rhodies, three azaleas, and two lavender plants that need to go into the ground. I also want to spread my Nitron and some alfalfa on the lawn. Also some cornmeal if I have the time. I also have 9 bags of hardwood mulch, but I have so much grass pulling around the edging to do, I'm going to do that as I go. What a pain in the rear. Wish that I had pulled it when it STARTED to invade, not three weeks later. My bad.

Supposed to have a real break this weekend, so I'm going to be busy.

It never got cold enough here to kill anything, and this is great weather for prolonging bloom of anything that has already started up. I'm planting perennial seedlings without worry but holding off on anything tender.

I have been putting out the new perennials for a couple of weeks now. They are doing fine. I have four window boxes with tender annuals done, that I did move inside for a couple of nights. I'm not taking a chance on putting out the basil seedlings yet.
I'm mad that all of the rain that we have been promised hasn't panned out yet.

Take some of ours. It's theoretically supposed to be dry for the weekend and then rain every day after that for the next week. @@

I have been planting new perennials, dividing, and moving old ones for a few weeks now. I even move a few sprouting Lilies. I did cover the pricy lilies that got stunted last year after Mother's Day frost. Everything is doing fine.

The perennials and annuals seedlings in my Winter Sowing jugs are doing GREAT. I don't have time to transplant the perennials yet. Some are reaching the neck of the milk jugs already. Winter Sowing is the way to go for me next winter.
