We have 2 immense spirea bushes we dug up to move and/or give away so we could plant azaelas in that space. I have a herniated disc, DH is having a hard time with his emphysema so if anyone would like to come and take these lovely old bushes they are up for grabs. I have lived in this house for 5 years and they were big when I moved in. We have to take a small section off one bush but that's all. They were appproximately 6-7 feet tall this summer and the birds roost in them all winter. This is a late Victorian cottage so the bushes may have been here a long time. Hate to part with them but just have too many things going on and possibly surgery next month these bushes need to get back in the ground. They were dug with huge rootball left on them so should not be a problem to transplant. Email and I will give you the address for picking them up.
