Clayton dug our potatoes the other day. They've been grown in a raised bed that had "black dirt" (here in Sherburne County, read peat/dirt) put in about 3 years ago. Almost all of the potatoes looked like something had eaten the eyes out - many have grooves cut into them where something had been eating them. They look like a birds eye view of a meandering river! Any ideas what may have caused this? He said he didn't see any grubs, but I know that we have some, so think we'll treat for them this year.
