Our garden club had a very interesting speaker last year. He was one of the Park Naturalists from Wild River State Park near Taylors Falls MN. Spoke on wildflowers and some of the park programs regarding the wildflower sactuaries in the park. Yous could contact your state parks nearby and see if they can help you out. Also check with your local garden centers/nurseries. They often have staff or can recommend speakers for you. We also had a local landscaping company speak once, that was interesting, too. talked about landscape design and construction.

Other potential sources: DNR personnel, local authors of gardening-related books. A good source is to check out local community education classes and contact one of those instructors. They are often in the biz and interested in getting some exposure.
