Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum, but a (semi) experienced gardener. I say semi because I was raised by my grandparents who are avid gardeners, and my grandfather who is a Texas Master Gardener. If I wasn't outside in the garden with my grandfather, we'd be out on the lake.

I decided to make an account here because I recently (last October) bought my first house with my partner. Of course, the FIRST thing I did was pick out a premium plot that gets great sun to put in a garden. We got lucky because our house has a 1/2 acre of land in the middle of Huntsville, TX.

I'm a recent graduate of the college in Huntsville, (Sam Houston State University) and I've been an avid plant lover all my life. I've stalked these forums several times for advice, but I thought it was about time I make an account.

I'm very excited to learn!
